Delicious food, and impressive selection of courses from many origins. I wish the portion to cost ratio was a little more, but other than that, wonderful. The server was amazing, clearly a foodie. Knew about all of the courses in great detail.

This is not the sort of place that we usually dine, but we tried it as an adventure because our kids were not with us. I wasn’t really sure what all the words meant on the menu, and when I told our waitress that, she was super helpful with picking out a few different things to try. Everything was very good, but I absolutely loved the barramundi on the specials menu!

Food was amazing. I started with the Bison Tartare and the egg on top was primo. It acted as a sauce and made it so moist and flavorful. The Gochugara Pork Naanwich was light but filling. Service from Cody was great and the chef skills were top notch.

Really great surprise in downtown Rapid. We decided last-minute to try to grab dinner here one evening recently and were lucky to grab a couple spots at the bar. We had such a great dinner here and will definitely be back. Great drink options including a decent N/A selection. Outstanding service from the minute we walked in despite the fact that we didn’t have a reservation. The menu is an interesting mix of options and there’s nothing else like it in town. Both of our meals were outstanding, creative, and fun. They also had great appetizer options including seasonal roasted beet hummus which we tried and really enjoyed. Do yourself a favor and check out this great new downtown spot. So glad Rapid is finally getting a little more food diversity.

The food was delicious. I enjoyed the Shrimp and grits and my coconut rice dessert was very good as well. At the time only one person waitressing and taking payment for the dining room. Service was a bit slow for my liking, but I enjoyed the meal.

Good time. Great waitress. Cool menu with just not one type of food. Small plates from around the world. Nice vibe inside. Tables and a few bar seats. They'll seat you when you walk in. Made a reservation and was easily seated. (Not sure if you need one though on a week day? Wasn't that busy.) Tried a ton of different things and all solid. A cool different place to have dinner if passing through the Rapid City area. Metered street parking is easy, free after 6.

We are beyond fortunate that a chef is willing to open a restaurant this good in Rapid City. The food scene is decidedly improving in Rapid and this restaurant is evidence of that. I 10/10 recommend that everyone make a reservation and give Tandoor Bocado a try. The food was extremely well prepared, inspired, and eclectic, with flavors that should please just about anyone. The service was great. The portions were surprisingly generous, especially considering the recent article describing a small plate menu. And the prices were very reasonable, particularly when contrast against other classy dining options in Rapid. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to go enjoy a great meal.

We've been here before and we were really excited to take some friends to experience what I've described as my favorite place to grab a bite in Rapid. The food is definitely elevated, and I'll be happy to see the kitchen at Tandoor Bocado continue to be recognized. However, the service put a bit of a sour mark on most recent visit. We arrived late afternoon, and were informed that most of the lunch menu had sold out — which is a fantastic problem to have. Our server helped us figure out what was still available to order and the food that we did order was great as it was before. However the candor and professionalism of our service left much to be desired. We saw our server pour herself a beer and after our initial interactions, was rude to our party. The strangest interaction was when she accused our friend of not signing the check, although there was an honest mistake made in the credit card slip he had grabbed. The attitude and way with which that was addressed just made for a very very peculiar interaction that I can only chalk up to fatigue from a sell-out day or something else going on. I hope that others have a better interaction with the service as the food is phenomenal.

Without a doubt our favorite place for date night! We have never had a bad experience. The food is adventures, delicious and beautifully presented! Atmosphere is relaxing and clean. I love the open kitchen, you can smell all the wonderfulness the chefs are whippin' up! Can't wait for another date night!

I’m not a review writer, but this place is worthy of my first. Everything about this place was 10/10 down to the decor and the glasses used! 100% would eat here weekly so it’s a good thing I live in Florida. Hats off to the chef because the whole time through my meal I just kept saying “wow. Wow. Just wow”. I wanted to try to describe the flavors and just how delish everything was, but words won’t even do it justice. Just do yourself a favor and go already.
