This museum was a real surprise. The historic building has a lot of interesting and historic spaces. Incorporated within this historic building you will find a surprisingly big and good collection of modern art from the 1920's till now. Not the famous and big names but the works are really good.

This awesome little museum has lots of varying art. I was very impressed by the abstract art from Belgium inside. It also has beautiful views of the buildings of Toledo in one of its two courtyards. Awesome, unexpected find. Free entry every day for a limited time.

Wow, this is the first edifice you come to at the top of 4 flights of Escalaras. Don't miss it! It's free, yet vast quantities of Euros are being spent to maintain the building and exhibition. It is a vast area and requires 1 to 2 hours to take it in. I'm not sure if it's also part of Museo di Santa Cruz. Note: The staff require training in visitor etiquette, but were nevertheless helpful.

This place is extraordinary, I've just left and feel like returning right away. The building itself is wonderful and the curation is perfect. There is a wide variety of art, various forms and a lovely sculpture garden. There's quite a bit of explanation of some historical aspects of Toledo, including the name origins of Toledo in the first room. There's even a Kandinsky and a Delacroix hanging in there waiting to be appreciated. My favourites are captured in the attached pics.

A great art gallery to visit, free access! Around 15 rooms of different styles to see. I'm impressed by all these amazing collections. The staffs are very cautious to protect the collections i guess, so like people say they do follow you to make sure that you act correctly. This close monitoring may make you feel a bit less comfortable, but I'm awared of it and prepared for this, so acceptable for me. and they are quite friendly to talk actually. Anyway, the collections are the most important part which are really worth to go!

Such a great collection! What a welcoming place for tourists, the community and world. Experiencing the building's architecture is worth a visit alone. The admission was free! How fortunate we are to have not only these works to enjoy, but that they're incorporated into the preservation of historic architecture. It's so accessible and easily located.

I actually did not know about this museum before visiting Toledo, but it was one of the MUST DO things I experienced and would recommend! Really interesting the way they have forged a very old historical building with more modern art and it totally works. there was no entry fee, although I would have payed in a heartbeat. The attendants will 'guide' you through, I think they try to keep attendance to a minimum so you can really "experience" everything, its a bit contrived to me personally, but the experience visiting is amazing.

Excellent if you have an interest in modern art, all displayed in wonderful surroundings. This is one of the best museums I have visited, every room has a delight to see. It's free entry so why not pay a visit!
